It's an exciting time for NAMI Barrington Area! The dedication and spirit of our new board members, committee chair people, and long list of volunteers continues to take my breath away.

This organization belongs to you. It is each and everyone of you who will shape it into what is relevant to your lives, and it is you who will bring it life.

To all those who have participated in our Education Courses or have come to support and discussion groups, thank you:

• for your insights, wisdom, and empathy,
• for your humor,
• for your friendship, you are family to me,
• for all the incredibly delicious snacks you have brought that help keep us going,
• for the many news articles and personal research and resources you have shared,
• for the books you have donated,
• for all of you who have been our second set of hands to help things progress in the best possible way.

Whatever you have done to assist, it is important, no matter how insignificant you might think it was at the time. Your input is very much remembered and appreciated. None of this would be possible without all of us pulling together. You have all been a blessing to me and to each other. Thank you.

To all of you who are volunteering your time and expertise:

• our board members, trained educators and support group leaders and those soon to be trained,
• our peer to peer leaders,
• webmaster and newsletter team,
• committee chair people and their indispensable committees,
• those working with our programs in schools, hospitals, police and EMT's,
• teams forming for outreach talks,
• those giving generous financial donations and material assets,
• those in advocacy,
• and all of you who see an area of interest and are going to explore getting more involved, you are all so much appreciated!

Most importantly, thank-you to all of you offering your enthusiasm, creative ideas, prayers and support.
