Visions for
Tomorrow NAMI
Barrington Area will be offering Visions for Tomorrow
this fall. Visions for Tomorrow is an eleven-week
class for parents and other caregivers of children who suffer
from brain disorders. Some of the disorders covered are mood
disorders (depression and bipolar), anxiety disorders, ADD/ADHD,
behavior disorders, autism or Tourette’s.
The program provides education on brain disorders, medications
and other treatments. It also offers caregivers an opportunity
to share mutual experiences, develop coping skills and learn
from each other. Spring Visions for Tomorrow Class. The first class will be April 5, 2007. The course will be 11 weeks. Each session will be 2 hours from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and will be held in Lake Zurich. For more info, any one interested can call me (Marci at 815-355-5395.)
