How to Find Your State Legislator Page
HOW TO FIND OUT WHO YOUR STATE LEGISLATORS ARE · First you need to know what legislative district you live in. · Illinois is divided into 60 State Senate Districts. One member of the State Senate is elected from each Senate District. · Each Senate District is divided into two State Legislative Districts (AKA State Representative or House Districts). So there are a total of 120 State Legislative Districts and one member of the Illinois House of Representatives is elected from each district. The easiest way to determine your Senate and Representative Districts is to check on the back of your voter registration card. Most Illinois counties include this information on voter registration cards. Once you know your Illinois House and Senate District numbers, the next thing is to find out who your legislators are and where they may be reached. To do this, click here.
If you can’t locate your voter registration card, or if you are not yet registered to vote, or can’t find out which legislative districts you live in, NAMI Illinois has a legislative district locator. All you have to do is to type in your address and the service will tell you your legislative districts. You can find this district locator at the NAMI Illinois website: http://il.nami.org/advocacy.htm

Algonquin: Most of Algonquin is in Senate District 32 and House District 64. The southern edge of Algonquin, the Kane Country portions, are in Senate District 25 and House District 49.
Arlington Heights: North of Hwy 14 is in Senate District 27 and House District 53 South of Hwy 14 is in Senate District 33 and House District 66
Barrington: The western 2/3rds of Barrington is in Senate District 26 and House District 52 The northeastern corner of Barrington (north of Lake-Cook Road) is in Senate District 26 and House District 51. The southeastern corner of Barrington (south of Lake Cook Road) is in Senate District 21 and House District 54.
Barrington Hills: Barrington Hills is divided into three districts and the boundaries zig and zag all over the map. Roughly, central Barrington Hills is in Senate District 26 and House District 52; northwestern Barrington Hills is in Senate District 32 and House District 64, and southern Barrington Hills is in Senate District 27 and House District 54.
Bartlett: Almost all of Bartlett is in Senate District 28 and House District 55. The tiny portion of Bartlett north of Lake Street near Hwy. 59 is in Senate District 22 and House District 44.
Buffalo Grove: Northern Buffalo Grove is in Senate District 30 and House District 59. Southern Buffalo Grove is in Senate District 27 and House District 53.
Cary: The eastern half of Cary is in Senate District 26 and House District 52. The western half of Cary is in Senate District 32 and House District 64.
Carpentersville: East of the Fox River is in Senate District 22 and House District 43. West of the Fox River is in Senate District 25 and House District 49.
Deer Park: Almost all of Deer Park is Senate District 26 and House District 51. The westernmost edge of Deer Park, closest to Hwy. 59, is Senate District 26 and House District 52.
Dundee: East Dundee is in Senate District 22 and House District 43. West Dundee is in Senate District 25 and House District 49
Elgin: The district boundaries in Elgin zig-zag all over the place. Roughly, the eastern two-thirds of Elgin are in Senate District 22 and House District 43. The western and northwestern sides of Elgin are in Senate District 25 and House District 49.
Elk Grove Village: Most of Elk Grove Village is in Senate District 33 and House District 66. The part of Elk Grove Village which is west of Hwy. 53 is in Senate District 28 and House District 56.
Fox River Grove: Almost all of Fox River Grove is in Senate District 26 and House District 52, but the westernmost corner of Fox River Grove is in Senate District 32 and House District 64.
Hawthorn Woods: All of Hawthorn Woods is in Senate District 26 and House District 51.
Hoffman Estates: Hoffman Estates south of I-90 is in Senate District 22 and House District 44. Hoffman Estates north of I-90 is in Senate District 27 and House District 54. The southeastern corner of Hoffman Estates – southeast of the corner of Golf and Higgins Roads – is in Senate District 28 and House District 56.
Inverness: Almost all of Inverness is in Senate District 27 and House District 54. The western end of Inverness is in Senate District Senate District 26 and House District 52.
Island Lake: All of Island Lake is in Senate District 26 and House District 52.
Johnsburg: All of Johnsburg is in Senate District 32 and House District 63.
Kildeer: All of Kildeer is in Senate District 26 and House District 51.
Lake Barrington: All of Lake Barrington is in Senate District 26 and House District 52.
Lake in the Hills: Lake in the Hills is in Senate District 32 and House District 64.
Lake Zurich: Lake Zurich is in Senate District 26 and House District 51.
Lincolnshire: All of Lincolnshire is in Senate District 30 and House District 59.
Long Grove: Almost all of Long Grove is in Senate District 26 and House District 51. A tiny portion of northeastern Long Grove is in Senate District 30 and House District 59.
Mt. Prospect: The district boundaries in Mt. Prospect zig-zag quite a bit, but roughly the central portions are in Senate District 33 and House Dstrict 66, the northeastern parts are in Senate District 29 and House District 57, the southeastern parts are in Senate District 33 and House District 66, and one tiny corner north of Euclid and west of 83 is in Senate District 27 and House District 53.
Mundelein: Most of Mundelein is in Senate District 26 and House District 51. The southeast corner of Mundelein is in Senate District 30 and House District 59.
Palatine: Almost all of Palatine is in Senate District 27 and House District 54. The tiny part of Palatine south of Euclid, near Harper College is in Senate District Senate District 28 and House District 56.
Park Ridge: Almost all of Park Ridge is in Senate District 33 and House District 65. A tiny sliver of Park Ridge, north of US Hwy. 14, is in Senate District 29 and House District 57.
Prospect Heights: Most of Prospect Heights is in Senate District 27 and House District 53. The eastern part of Prospect Heights, south of Palatine Rd. and east of the Metra tracks, is in Senate District 29 and House District 57.
Richmond: Richmond is in Senate District 32 and House District 63.
Riverwoods: Most of Riverwoods is in Senate District 30 and House District 59. Eastern Riverwoods, over by the Tri-State Tollway, is in Senate District 29 and House District 58.
Rolling Meadows: Rolling Meadows is rather gerrymandered. Most of the areas north of Kirchoff Rd. is in Senate District 27 and House District 54, while most of the area south of Kirchoff is in Senate District 33 and House District 66.
Schaumburg: Almost all of Schaumburg is in Senate District 28 and House District 56. The far northwestern edges of Schaumburg, near Barrington and Golf Roads, are in Senate District 22 and House District 44.
Sleepy Hollow: All of Sleepy Hollow is in Senate District 25 and House District 49.
Vernon Hills: Almost all of Vernon Hills is in Senate District 30 and House District 59, except for the very far northern edge , which is in Senate District 26 and House District 51.
Wauconda: Most of Wauconda is in Senate District 26 and House District 52. Far eastern Wauconda, the part near Fairfield Rd. is in Senate District Senate District 26 and House District 51.
Wheeling: Most of Wheeling is in Senate District 30 and House District 59. The parts of Wheeling which are south of Hintz Rd., or West of 83, are in Senate District 27 and House District 53.
